Soul Matters Discussion on Heritage

The Soul Matters theme for October is Heritage. Join us October 1 at 10 a.m. for a discussion on the topic. Meet in-person at CVUU or online through Zoom on Sunday at 10:00 AM.

Celebration of Eggs

Join us in-person at CVUU or online through Zoom on Sunday at 10:00 AM. We ask that those attending in-person wear a mask. We will learn a bit about pysanky (Ukrainian Easter Eggs) while decorating some boiled eggs of our own (not in traditional Ukrainian style though, that would take too long.) Eggs and things to decorate with will be provided for those meeting in person. This is also an opportunity for us to give to the people of Ukraine. Here is a link, so that you can give anytime: https://www.unocha.org/ukraine/about-uhf We will also collect cash donations to send to this fund on Sunday if you prefer that method. The Common Good

Come learn why “tax” is not a four-letter word. Benjamin Franklin wrote: “In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.” Religion has long sought to make us feel better about the first. This Sunday, we’ll see if we can help you feel better about the second. Cache Valley Unitarian Universalists is a lay-led congregation. Rather than relying on a full-time minister, members and friends of our congregation and invited guests, give of their time and talents to provide our worship experience, mirroring the diversity each of us brings to this community.

This I Believe

Long time CVUUers Jo and Jordan Leary will present a “This I Believe” service. The “This I Believe” series provides an opportunity for members and friends of CVUU to reflect upon beliefs and core values that guide us in our daily lives and to share the diversity of beliefs of our congregation.
