We had so much fun with this last time, that we’re doing it again! On Sunday, June 1, we will use children’s picture books to explore the theme of “Speaking Up.” If you have a favorite storybook on that theme to share, please bring it! Jo will also bring several from the library and we will read and discuss them in small groups before sharing with the whole group together. We’d love to have the youngsters participate in this as well. Meet in person at CVUU or online through Zoom on Sunday at 10:00 AM.
Jo Leary will help us explore Solitude and Loneliness and the differences between them. There will be a short video followed by discussion (and food!) There are certainly benefits to being alone. The Soul Matters theme for October is Heritage. Join us October 1 at 10 a.m. for a discussion on the topic. Meet in-person at CVUU or online through Zoom on Sunday at 10:00 AM.
Join us in-person at CVUU or online through Zoom on Sunday at 10:00 AM. We ask that those attending in-person wear a mask. We will learn a bit about pysanky (Ukrainian Easter Eggs) while decorating some boiled eggs of our own (not in traditional Ukrainian style though, that would take too long.) Eggs and things to decorate with will be provided for those meeting in person. This is also an opportunity for us to give to the people of Ukraine. Here is a link, so that you can give anytime: https://www.unocha.org/ukraine/about-uhf We will also collect cash donations to send to this fund on Sunday if you prefer that method.
