Earth Day Service

On April 19th, we will celebrate Earth Day at CVUU by listening to Jack Greene. Jack continues to have a global reach through his outdoor activities with the International Friends Program where he schools our USU international students on the nuances of our incredible natural landscapes from the Yellowstone Ecosystem to southern Utah’s Colorado Pleateau and Mojave desert bioregions. Additionally, he is working with his second high school project in rural Tanzania- Tanganyika Modern Secondary STEAM School, in rural Tanzania. His first project was the Gombe School of Environment and Sustainability near the Gombe Stream National Park where he and his students met the late Jane Goodhall. Nonviolent Communication (Part 2)

Dave Christian and Paul Rogers will facilitate a discussion of issues raised on March 1. There will be a short introduction, then we will open it up to the group to (hopefully) help us craft future directions for clear-eyed open communication that avoids alienation of those with alternative views at CVUU and respectfully engages those outside our spiritual community.
