Bridging Differences

This Sunday we will have a chance to explore the events of the last two weeks and what this means to each of us.With a focus on healing and all that healing entails, I ask you to join us this Sunday. Please come and bring your feelings and hopes. They are all welcome.

The Power of Play

After a turbulent week for our country and community, we will be focusing on a fun, playful topic. Reclaiming what children have always known is more critical than ever to our mental, physical and spiritual well-being. Play is not fluff. It’s not “extra.” It is a shared, therapeutic human activity that informs every part of our lives.

Honoring Our Ancestors

Have you ever wondered the true origins and meaning of Halloween? Come this Sunday to find out…hint…it has to do with one of the oldest human impulses…honoring those who came before us. if you have a picture of a loved one who has passed on that you would like to bring for the altar, please do!

Activate New Orleans

The service this Sunday will be given by the three young women who attended the UU “Activate New Orleans” program this August. Come hear about their experience Just a reminder: the half-plate collection is going to Utah Health and Human Resources (uhhr.org), which provides therapy and other assistance for refugee and asylee victims of human rights abuses.

Water Communion

The Water Communion, also called the Water Ceremony is the traditional ingathering service for many Unitarian Universalist congregations. Please bring water* from your Summer adventures to pour into a communal bowl. We’ll share what we’ve been doing and where we’ve been as we come together again in this intergenerational service.* If you were unable to collect water on your journey, tap water can stand in.
