This weekend Kevin Whitaker will speak and lead a discussion related to the UU Principles of compassion in human relations and the right of conscience in the democratic process. More specifically, I grew up surrounded by small c conservatives: people who revere tradition, religion, and generally drag their feet against what many would consider “progressive” (yes, these things apply in a political realm as well, but I’m attempting to come at this a bit more broadly). Join us Sunday for an unconventional inter-generational Easter service and egg hunt. Cache Valley Unitarian Universalists is a lay-led congregation. Rather than relying on a full-time minister, members and friends of our congregation and invited guests, give of their time and talents to provide our worship experience, mirroring the diversity each of us brings to this community.
