Poetry as Ceremony

Star Coulbrooke, Logan’s poet laureate gives us a homily/presentation titled Poetry as Ceremony. An excerpt: “Poems express the depth of human emotion through scenes and images created from our most harrowing or sorrowful or joyous memories. Poems help us find meaning in those memories, meaning that evolves to make us resilient and vibrant and hopeful. Poetry brings us together in the bonds of language and experience.” After her presentation Star will lead us in a participatory poetry experience. Content warning: there will be some non-explicit mention of sexual assault/the “me too” movement.

Easter

Join us Sunday for an unconventional inter-generational Easter service and egg hunt. Cache Valley Unitarian Universalists is a lay-led congregation. Rather than relying on a full-time minister, members and friends of our congregation and invited guests, give of their time and talents to provide our worship experience, mirroring the diversity each of us brings to this community.

Halloween

Cache Valley Unitarian Universalists is a lay-led congregation. Rather than relying on a full-time minister, members of our congregation give of their time and talents to provide our worship experience. Given that our services come from members, friends, and invited guests, they mirror the diversity each of us brings to this community. Join us for refreshments and conversation following the service.
