With elections not far around the corner this Sunday we will be having a service on Proactive Civic Engagement given by Paul Rogers and William Hochstedler. Cache Valley Unitarian Universalists is a lay-led congregation. Rather than relying on a full-time minister, members and friends of our congregation and invited guests, give of their time and talents to provide our worship experience, mirroring the diversity each of us brings to this community. Check back for the service topic, usually posted by Thursday or Friday.
This is a special service of listening to the stories and perspectives of Black Lives of UU. First we will try to understand why “Black Lives Matter” is a critical movement deserving of our attention, and not a statement against All Lives Matter, but a companion to that sentiment.
