As Americans, we hear about freedom quite a lot- and I’m not all that sure that we agree on exactly what it is. Depending on who you’re listening to, freedom is:
* the founding principle of our nation, certainly at risk from your political opponents
* paid for in blood, and constantly taken for granted
* a damn good excuse for an awful lot of concerning policies and decisions
Maybe this isn’t as simple as it sounds in political speeches or on TV. Join us on June 8th for a thoughtful discussion on freedom; what it means to us, and what we can do to preserve our most highly-regarded and misunderstood national precept.
Meet in person at CVUU or online through Zoom on Sunday at 10:00 AM.
