Water Communion

Join us for CVUU’s annual Water Communion! You’re invited to bring a small amount of water from a place or moment that holds meaning for you—a favorite spot in nature, your family home, a special trip, or even the first rain after a long dry spell. During the service, these waters will be poured together into a single bowl, symbolizing how our diverse experiences and sources of inspiration flow into one shared faith. Hootenany, Potluck and Planning

Get ready to sing your heart out and/or play your instrument if you have one (tambourine, maracas, accordion, ukulele, or whatever). CVUU is excited to bring back our fun hootenanny. All are welcome to bring instruments and song ideas (within reason), and all levels of singing expertise are encouraged to join in for this raucous good time. Bring a potluck dish to share if you are willing and able. If not, we hope you will come anyway! From Community Voices to Legislative Action: Caring for Utah’s Natural Treasures

This Sunday, August 17, we’re honored to welcome Utah House Representative Doug Owens (District 33) for a talk titled “How Can Utahns Influence the Legislature to Protect the Environment?” He’ll share an inspiring perspective and practical ideas for safeguarding the Great Salt Lake and other Utah treasures. International Friends Program

On August 10, Christine and Nathan Hult will share a presentation about the International Friend Program, which helps build lasting connections between USU’s international students and scholars and families in the Cache Valley community. International Friends in Logan, Utah, was incorporated as a non-profit 501c3 corporation in 2016 by interested citizens in the community. International Friends has entered into a memorandum of cooperation with Utah State University. They welcome participation in all of our activities by international students, scholars, community members and other interested students.
