The Courage of Faith and Doubt

A homily written by Rev. Gretchen Haley “Faith is the leap into the deep waters, where we cannot see the bottom – the willingness to trust, to relax, and to swim in the same ways we would have if we could see, if we did know exactly what is there, and to live with the unknowing.” Meet in-person at CVUU or online through Zoom on Sunday at 10:00 AM. Masks are not required, but are welcome.

Water Communion

Water communion is an annual tradition, usually held close to Labor Day. Members bring a small amount of water with them to the service from a place that is special to them or somewhere they visited over the summer. The combined water is symbolic of our shared faith coming from many different sources. Join us in-person at CVUU or online through Zoom on Sunday at 10:00 AM. Masks are not required, but are welcomed,
