Water communion is an annual tradition, usually held close to Labor Day. Members bring a small amount of water with them to the service from a place that is special to them or somewhere they visited over the summer. During the service everyone pours their water together into a big bowl and has the opportunity to share where the water came from and why it is special to them. The combined water is symbolic of our shared faith coming from many different sources.
