This Sunday we will be looking at the connection between voting rights and incarceration. Specifically, we will be reflecting on the case of Kalief Browder.
A congregation member will talk about their UU College of Social Justice internship at The Welcome Table Church and the partnering with A Third Place Community Foundation that together serve a low-income low life-expectancy multi-ethnic zip code. They will touch on lessons they have learned about social justice macro and micro, radical generosity, and missional church within the UU faith, among other things.
