Winter Solstice & Christmas Poetry

We are nearly to the shortest day and longest night of the year and soon will be looking forward to welcoming back the sun. Please join us this Sunday for our annual Winter Solstice Service filled with songs performed by our “occasional choir”. As always all are welcome to join us for refreshments and conversation after the service.

Fall Ingathering: Water Communion

For those who are newer to CVUU the Water Communion service is a tradition that is performed yearly in many UU congregations. Traditionally, many UU churches would take a break for the summer (some still do) between Memorial and Labor Day, often the Water Communion is one of the first services upon returning from the summer break. Members bring a small amount of water from somewhere that is special to them (we always have symbolic water available for people to use). Summer Solstice Celebration

Celebrate the Summer Solstice with music and poetry. Cache Valley Unitarian Universalists is a lay-led congregation. Rather than relying on a full-time minister, members and friends of our congregation and invited guests, give of their time and talents to provide our worship experience, mirroring the diversity each of us brings to this community.
