Dr. Robert R. Gillies, Director of the Utah Climate Center, will be speaking to us this Sunday. He is a State Climatologist and is also a Professor of Plants, Soils, and Climate in the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences at Utah State University. The service will begin with a presentation by Dr. Gillies, providing an overview of the Utah Climate Center’s role. He will then discuss Utah’s climate outlook, covering both short-term trends and long-term shifts over the past 50 years.
