On April 19th, we will celebrate Earth Day at CVUU by listening to Jack Greene.
Jack continues to have a global reach through his outdoor activities with the International Friends Program where he schools our USU international students on the nuances of our incredible natural landscapes from the Yellowstone Ecosystem to southern Utah’s Colorado Pleateau and Mojave desert bioregions. Additionally, he is working with his second high school project in rural Tanzania- Tanganyika Modern Secondary STEAM School, in rural Tanzania. His first project was the Gombe School of Environment and Sustainability near the Gombe Stream National Park where he and his students met the late Jane Goodhall. Both schools have a strong environmental/sustainability emphasis in their curriculum. Jack serves on many local/regional boards and groups committed to preserve and restore our natural systems that we all rely on.
Meet in person at CVUU or online through Zoom on Sunday at 10:00 AM.
